We are currently working on a computer based learning situation in which students must build their own home powered by renewable energy sources.
The hands-on version of this project was developed in collaboration with students from the École polyvalente Saint-Jérôme in Québec and presented at Canada’s science teacher’s festival Science on Stage in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in August 2009.

Students, teachers and chair with award winning environmentally friendly house project. February 2009. École polyvalente Saint-Jérôme, Québec.
The project is being modified for grade 10 students and will include creating functional electrical systems inside the house coupled to a functional power generator.
It is our goal to present this project at the Sarawak 2010 International Conference in Malaysia as an example of a high school science project promoting regreening of our planet.
